@OldeHippi san and I exchanged emails to discuss this haiku; I suggested some idea, and she made some changes. Now that I read it, I kind of like to change the last line to "snowy field" because snow is what excites children. They would play with them, laughing. Then again "winter field" is OK, too. No matter how cold and windy the place is, the field is where kids play.
Other than the haiku, I really enjoyed drawing this image. I picked bare-branch-like font for the haiku.
