I made this image in slightly different design for An'ya-san's haiku before. It was about an icicle shattering. This time, I took out the icicle and changed the background color, and added my own haiku.
Just yesterday, I heard a sad news from a friend, a news of the passing of the loved one. A young soul departed like a fast jet plane. This haiga is dedicated to him.

I love the glinting of sunlight off and on planes as I see them overhead, where I live.
But not so much the fighter jet that flew down so low over me, in Bradford on Avon, and days after the incident with a helicopter, that I nearly crouched down in the road.
Thought my number was up for sure.

Thanks, Alan-san.
The danger is not only from the sky but on the road too. Careful.
