This is my painting titled "Hawaiian Cityscape"
I painted it when I was studying art at Univ.of Hawaii.
About 200cmX170cm in size. Acrylic paint
The painting was purchased by the Honolulu Academy of Arts,
and is one of its permanent collections.
Takuboku Ishikawa, a well-know Tanka poet, wrote;
Saddness of white crane
driffting
but not melting in
the blue of the sky and the sea
This is more or less what occupied in my mind then.
