Haiga 410

Senryu by myself. The photo is from a series of shots on Haitian amputee football. Here is the URL: http://blogs.denverpost.com/captured/2010/10/27/haitian-amputee-football/2519/
Big earthquake, and these handicaps. Often times, I am amazed at how much humans can take, and still find some joy in difficult circumstances.

Haiga 409

Haiku by myself. Photo by @hawaii I heard in the news that Hawaiian Air Line, Hawaii's local carrier, has now a direct flight from Honolulu to Haneda, a Tokyo airport. Back in my student time, I used to ride Hawaiian on bare feet. Welcome, good old HAL.

Haiga 408

Haiku by myself. Photo by Rodrigo abd. We see unsettling situations in the world. Just hope that people concerned stop and think what this world is made for originally. Certainly not as a place of conflicts among the inhabitants. We all seek happiness and this world is made for the life of happiness. Arms never achieve happiness, they only result in more piles of negative emotions like hate and anger. Moderation of mind is the only way to the goal.

I will be out of town and out of touch on computer for about a week. No update for the period. Sorry about that.

Haiga 405

Haiku by myself. Photo by Ricky Pike. The photo was taken by tossing a camera in the air, according to the photographer. A risky way to take picutre but interesting image results. This image reminded me of paintings done by Jackson Pollock, who was active in 1950's in NY.
