I have been to countries in the Asia including Philippines. Wherever I went, I felt people's energy, in the way they eat, do business on the street where people, animals, vehicles go about with a lot of noise and chaos. It seemed there was no such thing as silence there.
So, this haiku was refreshing when I first read it. I thought it would be nice to be under the monsoon water just like the swimmer in this haiga.
