A Day in Tokyo

Yesterday was the annual WHA Japan Conferece day. Usual members as well as some new faces were present. The highlight of the conference was a lecture given by Dr. Sukeyuki Hirakawa, a former professor at Tokyo tUniversity, and a specialist in comparative cultural study. He talked about haiku from the stand point of his speciality.

Next day, I took off my lodging early, and did some walking around. My lodging was located by British Embassy. From there I walked to Yotsuya JR station, zigzaging the way. In a big city like Tokyo, if you walk around, you'll get to enjoy the pathway like the photo.
