Haiga 1014 - winter sketch 1

Haiku and photographic drawing by Kuniharu Shimizu.

During the winter time, plants show different faces. Because they are without leaves and flowers, they become more linear, almost like line drawing. If you look around carefully, there are quite a few nice compositions in the withered field.

Although I am personally quite sure that there is another life and another world than this, your splendid haiga reminds famous epigraphs:
"There is another world, but it is in this one"-WB Yeats or Paul Eluard.

I'll go in the street
and look at the snow,
soon it will be dark.

Romano-San, thanks for the epigraph. I guess when we begin to look around with different eyes, another world come into view.
