In the fall, leaves showed wonderful colors and attracted many eyes of ours. After that stage, there is little to see in leaves, but when I picked up a withered leaf and looked closely, I found another interesting aspect in the leaf other than the colors, it was the forms, a sculptural form. The leaf curled, bent, veins more articulate, and thus no longer 2 dimensional but very 3D. It reminded me of some of the monumental sculptures by Alexander Calder.
