Some time ago, I received a Imabari towel handkerchief from Ban'ya Natsuishi- san. Printed on it was his calligraphy of his famous waterfall haiku. Now he wants to add tranlations of the haiku along with the calligraphy, and asked me yesterday to come up with appropriate layout on the towel. Since the haiku mentions about blowing apart waterfall, I placed the translations as if they are splashing from the center. I also added small circles, like drops of water.
