This is not sumi-e, Gillena san.
When a painting is done with black sumi ink and brush, it is sumi-e. Traditional haiga works were done in the form of sumi-e, but the moder idea of haiga is to visualize the poetic content of a haiku so you can use any painting tools and materials.
